The SF and fantasy fusion RPG Xenoblade, originally released for Wii in 2010, comes vividly to life on Nintendo Switch. The story, gameplay volume, field exploration, battle system, and depth remain intact, but with HD graphics, some new audio tracks, and an additional story. The UI has also been revamped for a more user-friendly experience.

Story:
Set in a world on the corpses of two gods, this is the tale of a kind-hearted boy’s quest for revenge and creation. The "Bionis," the god of humans, and the "Mechonis," the god of machines, are locked in eternal battle. The protagonist, Shulk, is driven by vengeance after his hometown is attacked by the mysterious Mechon and his childhood friend is killed. Armed with the Monado sword, he embarks on an epic adventure in a world where humanity and machines are at odds.

Additional Story: "Xenoblade: Future Connected"
This new additional story is set in the world after the main game’s completion, focusing on the protagonist Shulk and Melia of the Hyentia tribe. Note: You can start playing this additional story immediately after purchase, even if you have not completed the main game.
