  • Story: Set in Monster World, the protagonist Asha, a newly made warrior, gets caught up in a major crisis involving the kingdom's survival. Four spirits have been captured by invaders aiming to take over the world. Tasked by Queen Plaplil to rescue the spirits, Asha embarks on an adventure with the mysterious creature Pepelogoo. Together, they face various challenges to save the world.
  • Remake Features: "Monster World IV" has been fully remade from its original 2D side-scrolling action to 3D graphics, enhancing visuals and refining gameplay. Event scenes have been vividly recreated, and for the first time in the series, voice acting has been added with popular voice actor Ai Fairouz providing voices for Asha and 29 other characters.
  • Original Staff: The remake is developed by the original staff under the direction of Ryuuichi Nishizawa, the creator of the "Wonder Boy" series. Character design by Maki Ohzora and BGM arrangements and SE additions by Shinichi Sakamoto have been overseen to maintain the high gameplay and action quality of the series.
