Product Introduction:
Wave introduces the Super Dimension Fortress Macross SDR-04-MkXII Phalanx model kit at a 1/72 scale, standing approximately 18cm tall.
The Phalanx is the first time this unit has been brought to life in 1/72 scale within the Destroid series. Like previous kits such as Tomahawk and Defender, this model features a snap-fit assembly that doesn’t require glue, and its joints are articulated thanks to poly parts.
Since no detailed art existed for the Phalanx, original detailed design drafts were created with the cooperation of Liquid Stone and overseen by Kazutaka Miyatake, the mecha designer. This ensures that the model retains a consistent level of detail and articulation with other kits in the series, featuring opening cockpit and missile pods.
