A new "Story Mode" feature allows you to enjoy the story like a visual novel. It supports auto-play with automatically sent messages. Additionally, the new "Story Mode" allows the game to progress fully automatically, including decision-making, for those who struggle with puzzles. You can switch between "Story Mode" ON/OFF during gameplay.

The game includes a new "English Version" with newly recorded English voice acting. Enjoy the game with English text and voice, with easy switching between Japanese and English from the options. For an immersive Meiji-era experience, evidence items are displayed in Japanese, with English translations appearing when the cursor hovers over them.
