Subaru Impreza WRC 2001 Overview: The Subaru Impreza WRC 2001 was created to compete in the 2001 World Rally Championship. It featured a 4-door body with blister-type over fenders and a horizontally opposed 4-cylinder turbo engine. The throttle, semi-automatic transmission, and front, center, and rear differentials were electronically controlled. Richard Burns, one of the four drivers, became the 2001 champion.
