Description:
This is a 1/24 scale model of the Lotus Europa Special, which debuted in 1972. It features a low and sharp silhouette. The engine hood can be removed after assembly to view the interior. The Y-shaped backbone frame is molded together with the rear radius arms. The front double-wishbone suspension, stabilizer, rear upright, and engine are attached to this frame, and the floor part is glued to the assembled frame, after which the body is placed on top, reflecting the actual car's structure. The engine is faithfully reproduced with details such as the big valve cam cover, twin carburetors, 5-speed transmission, and the shift linkage located at the rear. The tight cockpit area features a dashboard with six meters, high-back seats, a three-spoke steering wheel, and a short shift knob for realism. The LOTUS logo on the rear of the engine hood, along with various emblems, keyholes, and mirror surfaces, are crafted with high-quality inlet marks. Pinstriping on the body comes with decals.
