Mario embarks on a journey around the world. A new 3D Mario game has arrived for the Nintendo Switch. Mario is back in a large open-world stage, running freely, for the first time in 15 years since Super Mario Sunshine.
The game retains classic 3D Mario actions like long jumps and body attacks, but also introduces new actions using his hat. Mario’s hat partner, Cappy, gives him the ability to “capture” enemies and objects, allowing Mario to possess them.
