What is Shinku no Homura: Sanada Ninpouchou?
Fourteen years after the battle of Sekigahara, which divided the nation, the Tokugawa shogunate has solidified its power and begun plotting to eliminate the troublesome Toyotomi clan. In response, the Toyotomi clan, based in Osaka Castle, resolves to engage in battle against the Tokugawa shogunate, seeking allies among the daimyōs across Japan.

Despite many daimyōs rejecting their call, there are those who accept the invitation. One of them is Sanada Nobushige.
Once a participant in the battle of Sekigahara as the second son of the Sanada family, he fought alongside his father, Sanada Masayuki, against the Tokugawa clan. As a result, he was confined to Kishu Province's Kudoyama for life.

Now, determined to escape Kudoyama and reach Osaka Castle, Nobushige receives help from ten ninjas who serve him. These individuals include samurai who once served the Sanada clan, ninjas who continued to work for the clan even after confinement, and those who came to challenge Nobushige and the Sanada ninjas in the name of the clan—later known as the Sanada Ten Braves.

As they attempt to escape Kudoyama, they are thwarted by the covert Yagyu, who have been assassinating many under the shogunate's orders, along with mysterious swordsmen and warriors who stand in their way.

This is the final hour of the Warring States period, a story depicting the bonds and lives of Sanada Nobushige and the Ten Braves as they rush to Osaka Castle.
