From the anime "Mobile Police Patlabor," the special vehicles "Type 98 Command Vehicle & Type 99 Labor Carrier" have made a long-awaited return in 1/60 scale! The Labor Carrier is the first time it has been turned into a three-dimensional model and plastic kit since the broadcast of the show.
Design: Thoroughly supervised by designer Masami Kawai, with updates and detail improvements to make it a definitive version.
Size: Impressive size with a total length of 290mm.
Features: Metal shafts connecting each wheel, rotating tires made of rubber, and clear parts for the patrol lamps and windows.
Command Vehicle: Features a forward and backward rotation mechanism for the wheels, a left/right swing mechanism for the front wheels, and a storage and deployment mechanism for the searchlight.
Multi-Purpose Hanger: Can accommodate police labor units like MODEROID Ingram, Peacemaker, and Variant. Includes moving arms for labor fixation, rotating crane, and extendable step features.
Outriggers: Equipped with a telescoping mechanism, with the multi-purpose hanger capable of being jack-up to 90 degrees for recreating the deck-up scene with the loaded labor units.
This set, which includes the command vehicle, is essential for recreating the Special Vehicle Section’s composition. The kit includes molded color parts, some pre-painted parts, and water-slide decals for vehicle markings, allowing for an accurate reproduction of the in-show appearance.
