• Game Overview: The protagonist of this sequel is Sakuya Izayoi, the maid of the Scarlet Devil Mansion. Sakuya sets out to search for the missing Remilia and other inhabitants of the mansion, as well as for the missing spring, by entering the phantom Scarlet Devil Mansion. Players must fight enemies and confront familiar Touhou Project bosses while navigating through stages with intricate bullet patterns.

  Sakuya specializes in close-range attacks with knives and can use the new action "Backstep" along with "Flight" to evade enemy attacks. The game features stylish new attacks like "Soul Sculpture," "Flying Kick," and "Backstep Knife," enhancing the gameplay.

  Players can equip up to three sub-weapons/partners before stage selection. Sub-weapons include familiar items like "Knife Throw" and "Pocket Watch," which can stop time. Partners are characters from the Touhou series who can be summoned to assist with their unique skills. Timing the use of sub-weapons and partners is crucial for gaining the upper hand in battles.
