"Grim Guardians: Demon Purge" is a 2D side-scrolling action game where two high school girls, who make their living as “demon hunters,” battle to restore their school, which has turned into a demon-infested castle. Players can switch between two characters with different abilities as they aim to reach the boss demon at the end of each stage. By defeating boss demons, players acquire new weapons, enabling further exploration and progression in subsequent stages.

The game supports two-player simultaneous play, allowing for cooperative action. Players can freely select difficulty through the “Style System,” and gameplay changes with each playthrough, offering a hard-hitting action experience combined with a unique horror atmosphere characteristic of Inti Creates.

[Story]
The Kamizono family has been a lineage of demon hunters for generations. After finishing their demon-hunting duties, Shinobu and Maya Kamizono return to school, only to find their “Sakura Third High School” transformed into a demon castle. Why has this happened? Are the students safe? With so many mysteries, the only ones who can resolve this situation are the Kamizono sisters, the demon hunters.
