"Zero: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse" is the fourth title in the "Zero" series, originally released for Wii in 2008. Following the release of the remastered version of "Zero: Maiden of Black Water" in October 2021, the classic "Zero" series returns with upgraded graphics.

In this game, young girls who were abducted during a festival on the isolated island of Rogetsu Island return to the island in search of their lost memories. Using the "Camera Obscura" that captures and seals away impossible things and relying on the dim light of a flashlight, players explore various locations and fend off vengeful spirits while uncovering the truth.

Camera Obscura (Shaeiki):
An old camera known as "Camera Obscura" has the power to repel and seal away vengeful spirits. This indispensable item allows players to deal damage to spirits by aiming and capturing them through the viewfinder. Additionally, photographing suspicious locations reveals clues through the camera's special powers, playing a significant role in the exploration. Occasionally, unexpected things may be captured.

Exploration of Rogetsu Island:
Players explore dark Western-style mansions and abandoned hospitals on the island, relying on moonlight and the faint light of a flashlight. Progress in the story is made by interacting with various objects in the environment. By piecing together past newspaper articles and memos, players unravel the horrifying events of the past and recover the protagonist's lost memories. Some moments may give you a chill.

Enhanced Graphics:
The game features newly created character models and updated cutscenes. Graphics have been upgraded to high resolution for the platform, with improved shading and lighting effects from the flashlight, offering a more immersive horror experience.
