A series of heinous crimes, known as the "X-Day Incident," has turned Shinjuku into a dangerous place, and the protagonist, working as a police officer, is attacked one night and forced to wear a collar laced with poison.

Confused and uncertain, the protagonist meets suspicious men from a former police organization who are independently investigating the crimes. As the protagonist becomes a key figure in the case, they must work with these men to remove the deadly collar and uncover the truth behind the incidents.
