Despite having to trade places with her mother, who remarried after leaving her husband, the protagonist realizes that her father's dream of becoming a swordsman has become her own.   • The story unfolds based on historical events, such as the Osaka sumo brawl incident in 1863, the August 18 Coup, the assassination of Serizawa Kamo, the Ikedaya incident, and the Kinmon incident. Through these real incidents, the protagonist's growth and love stories with the Shinsengumi members are depicted.

• Route Variation: The route changes based on the Shinsengumi member the protagonist becomes close with. The game provides 21 episodes as "Main Events" dealing with significant occurrences, with the main events changing depending on who the protagonist befriends. The core story and routes differ greatly depending on who you choose to pursue, allowing for multiple playthroughs.
