Another girl falls Tragedy is often irrational, but few tragedies resonate as profoundly with the term "irrational" as this one. On that day, a section of the city collapsed to the ground, taking many lives with it. There was no distinction among the victims based on gender, age, humanity, status, or economic power; the only thing that led to their demise was the mere fact that they were there. Why did they have to die? What meaning lies behind the countless deaths? There are no answers, and all that remains for those left behind is a vague, shapeless sense of loss. This tragedy later became known as the "Grand Collapse" (Gran Forte). Since then, the city of Novas Aiter has been shrouded in irrational rain. The water flowing from the upper levels to the lower levels saturates the city and eventually pools in the prisons. With no way to remove the increasing filthy water, the prisoners can only gasp in despair. Will there ever come a day when the sun shines upon the city of Novas Aiter?
