Summer vacation.
A town surrounded by the cage of nature, Okuoneri.
A year ago, the protagonist's brother suddenly disappeared from this town.

One day before the summer break, the protagonist, Ichiko Hanamaki, a university student, is invited by her childhood friend and classmate, Hinokagutsuchi Hino, to visit Okuoneri, where her brother vanished.

Hino discovered a website called "Okuoneri Forbidden Club", where the town's mysteries and legends are discussed. He suggests attending an off-line meeting organized by the club during summer vacation to investigate her brother’s disappearance.

At the Hotel Fuurinkan, where the members of the Okuoneri Forbidden Club gather, the protagonist begins to unravel the town's hidden face and its whispered "Legend of the Dead". As she traces her brother’s footsteps, mysterious incidents, real forbidden areas, and the town's legendary flower that blooms only there emerge.
